A "break"

Twaz the night of x-mas break and all through the school not a student was stirring not even in D-hall
Semester exams are graded and in the book and visions of next term haunt my weary head...
and what does the family do to relax?
Plan a 30 hour road trip with a 15 month old baby... holy crap!

Seriously, at five am tomorrow (excuse me, this morning) I will be on the road, headed for Arizona, with my small child and a wife who "doesn't function well on five hours of sleep".
What a way to spend a birthday.
Instead of reflecting on my first semester out of middle school and all of the other stuff I do want to write about now I'll simply ask that you think of us this week and hope that I'm still married when this is all over.
