"Socratic Oath"

Every day I try to teach kids that they can make change in their world.

Every day I sit in a pool of my own frustration contemplating the misdirection of public education and our current obsession with standardized testing. Maybe this teacher could "heal thyself" with a "Socratic Oath" and make a vocal stand for the education of our children... a good comment by a seventh grade teacher and an inspiring story of a school district that was fed up.

Change needs to come, and fast before our kids become the mindless sheep that continued testing will turn them into. I smell a plan...or is that my dinner?
