AAARRRGH!!

Last year at almost exactly this time of year Mrs. Smithie, little Smithie and I moved into our current home. We are just now getting around to meeting our neighbors etc... (they were mad because we put up a fence and made them be neighbors with two dogs). One of our neighbors teaches elementary school, so occasionally we have a little teacher talk and a little wariness over the fence. Yesterday she drops this little bomb, "So why and what do you teach in History, I mean it's pretty much just a required course right? You know, kids have to take it so you teach it?" Because I like to have neighbors that I can borrow a cup of milk from and that we don't have to duck in the grocery store, my response was short, polite and conversation ending.
