It's SPRING!!!! You know what that means...

Testing! Ahh that wonderful time of year when teachers are desperately trying to convince students that this thing is important while rightfully annoyed students harumph knowing it has no bearing on their lives whatsoever. The stress level among teachers is through the roof as we know that the consequences for low test scores include scheduling nightmares, teacher blaming, the cutting of electives so that we can focus on "core" classes and the elimination of positions to "streamline" the test factory...I mean education system. We know that as far as the admin is concerned the only numbers that matter are those that come back on the test. But the kids? why should they care they are out of here in a year or two and none of this will impact their education directly.

I'm going to go puke before I polish up my resume.
