ALLMMOST. THERE. ALMOST. THERE...

Tomorrow is FINALLY the last day of the year. My district has no compensation or “snow” days built into the schedule. So we add a day for every unplanned day missed. This year we added five days to the end of our regular schedule. Tomorrow we have finally paid off our districts short sighted planning and we end.

This marks the end of my first year in High School after three years in middle school. Holy crap, do I have a post or two of reflecting on the differences I've observed between the two so far! But for now I must work like hell to get all of my stuff done before I can officially say it’s over. I feel a multi-day crash coming on…

I taught middle school for over twelve years before moving to the high school. I can't wait to see your thoughts!

Good luck: we still have TWO WEEKS. I also did several years of high school before arriving in middle school. Your thoughts will be of interest to me.
