HST Takes His Final Ride

This Saturday August 20^th HST will take his final ride. Hunter S. Thompson's ashes have been stuffed into fireworks shells and are prepared to be fired and exploded over his Owl Farm home in Woody Creek Colorado. I hope all goes well and express my deepest wishes that everyone there is ripped out of their gourds in Hunter’s honor. Should be one hell of a party… I’ll raise a glass of some fine Kentucky Bourbon (neat please) and raise my middle finger to whatever freedom squashing authority comes to mind, and enjoy a nice warm haze in his honor.

If there is, in fact, a Heaven and a Hell, all we know for sure is that Hell will be a viciously overcrowded version of Phoenix...
